整理一下自己看《月亮与六便士》的感想

看第一章的是后我真的是被毛姆的文笔给惊到了，像我这种中英文都不好的人满脑子只剩下一句话：写得太TM好了！

还有很喜欢他的一些观点，随便贴一段我很喜欢的：
The faculty for myth is innate in the human race. It seizes with avidity upon any incidents, surprising or mysterious, in the career of those who have at all distinguished themselves from their fellows, and invents a legend to which it then attaches a fanatical belief. It is the protest of romance against the commonplace of life. The incidents of the legend become the hero's surest passport to immortality. 我一开始看第一章还以为全书都是这个风格，结果看完查了一下百科，居然是小说？！

我当时看到章节超多还很紧张，担心自己要读好久（用的是罗马数字，居然大到我压根没见过，只能数了）
结果真的读起来有些章节才400字...
明天我就能读完

一下内容就是剧透了


当时Blanche Stroeve哭着说不让 Strickland来他们的studio时说的那番话就让我猜到了可能会是这样的走向，当Blanche一整夜无话的那一段就更加肯定了，但是还在期望作者不会写这么恶俗的情节吧，当Stroeve进来，结果男主认为他多心了的时候我真的才刚刚松了一口气啊，结果...看得哭出来

和Strickland 离开 Mrs. Strickland,离开体面的生活离开相处了17年的妻子、离开子女一样，让外人只能用 mad 来形容
可是在当事人眼里大概有一种不得不做的使命感吧
不考虑所谓的天分、不管他人的看法、也没想过自己会不会吃不上饭死掉

在有些人的眼里，时不存在什么理智的，只存在某种信念，“我一定要做某事”
他们没想过失败会怎么样，甚至也不对成功感兴趣，这其实是我长那么大从来没看到过的品质
我总觉得“功利心”是人类的天性，虽然不是“理性人”但是我们所做的大部分决定都应该是经过理性思考过后的啊

书没看完，对人物不做评价（虽然已经被百科和序言剧透了）
